Paparazzi Pro - Terms of Use.

To build a safe and trustworthy community, all Paparazzi Pro users must agree to the terms of use and complete our user onboarding before becoming visible to celebrities. This process ensures that photographers are professional, credible, and prepared to deliver high-quality experiences.

These subterms outline the specific policies, responsibilities, and expectations for users of Paparazzi Pro.

The Paparazzi Pro terms of Use are included as part of the OpenPaparazzi App Terms Of Use and are binding for all users. By registering for Paparazzi Pro, you agree to comply with the terms as laid out below.

(1) Mandatory Onboarding Steps

Government ID Verification

Photographers must upload a clear image of a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license or national ID). This ID:

  • Must match the photographer’s profile name.

  • Must not be expired.

  • Will be reviewed annually.

We do not share this information publicly. It is strictly for verification.

Portfolio Submission

Photographers must submit a minimum of 5 original photographs demonstrating their work. These should represent:

  • A variety of shots (e.g. portraits, events, products, etc.).

  • Consistent editing style and image quality.

  • No use of stock images or AI-generated photos. Portfolios will be reviewed for authenticity and visual quality by our team.

Selfie Match

To prevent identity fraud, photographers must submit a live selfie to be matched with their government ID.

Service Description & Pricing Transparency

Each photographer must provide:

  • A short bio (min. 150 words) about their experience and speciality.

  • Clear pricing details (hourly/session-based or package options).

  • Information about what’s included in their services (e.g. retouching, delivery time, digital/physical copies).

Client Reference or Social Proof

At least one of the following is required:

  • A client testimonial.

  • A link to a professional Instagram/Facebook/Portfolio website with active content and photography.

(2) Professional Conduct and Community Guidelines

To maintain a respectful and secure environment, all photographers must adhere to the following:

  • Treat all clients, collaborators, and platform users with respect and professionalism.

  • Refrain from aggressive sales tactics, unsolicited messages, or harassment of any kind.

  • Respect personal space, privacy, and boundaries.

  • Maintain professional behaviour during all interactions, including communication, photoshoots, and post-production exchanges.

Violations will result in removal from the platform.

(3) Working with Celebrities

When working with celebrities, Paparazzi Pro users are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and fully prepared for scheduled sessions.

  • Refrain from bringing unapproved guests, assistants, or third parties to bookings.

  • Clearly confirm the scope of the session, including what may and may not be photographed.

  • Never share behind-the-scenes content or name-drop clients without explicit written permission.

Breaches of trust or privacy will result in immediate deactivation of the user's account.

(4) Communication and Booking Etiquette

  • All communications must remain professional, courteous, and transparent.

  • Users are expected to respond to booking enquiries within 24 hours.

  • Communication should remain within the app until a booking is confirmed.

  • Misleading statements regarding availability, pricing, or deliverables are grounds for removal.

(5) Cancellation Policy

If a Celebrity user cancels your shoot. Don’t worry. We have got you covered. The OpenPaparazzi cancellation policy for Pro users is as follows:

  • 5 hours or more before the scheduled shoot: full refund issued.

  • Between 5 hours and 3 hours before the shoot: 25% refund issued.

  • Between 3 hours and 2 hours before the shoot: 50% refund issued.

  • 2 hours to 1 hour before the shoot: No refund; full charge applies.

  • 1 hour or less before the shoot or no-show: No refund; full charge applies.

Short Notice bookings for Paparazzi Pro: For bookings made within one hour of the desired start time (i.e., short-notice bookings), Celebrities are eligible for a full refund if the booking is cancelled within 10 minutes of confirmation. After the 10-minute window has passed, the full amount will be charged and is non-refundable.

The cancellation policy ensures that the on-demand flexibility of OpenPaparazzi can be met while still respecting your time.

(6) Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a photographer and a client:

  • Users are encouraged to resolve misunderstandings through respectful communication.

  • If resolution is not possible, either party may escalate the issue to Paparazzi Pro Support.

  • Users may be asked to provide supporting materials (e.g. chat transcripts, screenshots).

  • The platform reserves the right to make final determinations on all disputes.

Serious or repeated complaints will result in an account review.

(7) Customer Support

  • Support is available to all Paparazzi Pro users via in-app messaging or email.

  • Support requests are typically addressed within 48 hours.

  • Time-sensitive matters (e.g., harassment or safety issues) should be flagged using the in-app reporting tool for expedited review.

(8) Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and will result in account removal:

  • Misrepresenting your identity, qualifications, or portfolio.

  • Sharing or using another person’s account.

  • Photographing or following individuals without their consent.

  • Failing to deliver paid services without refund or valid reason.

  • Sharing private or identifiable client content without permission.

(9) Concluding the Photo Shoot

At the end of the photo shoot, both the Paparazzi Pro user and Celebrity should preview the photographs to ensure that both parties are happy with the shots. Paparazzi Pro users are expected to deliver the final photos via email within 48 hours.

(10) Ratings and Reviews

After each session, both parties must leave a review and star rating. These ratings contribute to each user's trust profile on the platform. Users with repeated negative reviews will be subject to account review.

(11) Payments and Commission

  • Paparazzi Pro users determine the cost of a photoshoot.

  • OpenPaparazzi has a 20% commission charge on the photo shoot cost.

  • The Payment gets released to the Paparazzi Pro user once a celebrity has received their photos.

(12) Tax Obligations

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax obligations applicable to your use of the App, including but not limited to income tax, VAT, National Insurance contributions, or any other local, regional, or national taxes arising from the services you offer or perform. OpenPaparazzi does not provide tax advice and will not be liable for any tax liabilities, obligations, or penalties incurred in connection with your use of the platform. We recommend that you seek independent financial or legal advice to ensure you comply with all applicable tax laws.

(13) Account Termination

You can cancel your account with OpenPaparazzi at any time using the “remove account” button on the Platform.

(14) Agreement and Acknowledgement

By registering for Paparazzi Pro and completing the onboarding process, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these subterms, as well as the broader OpenPaparazzi App Terms of Use.
